Humberside Police response
There is an ongoing Humberside Police investigation in relation to Legacy Independent Funeral Directors. Anyone with information in relation to this who has not previously provided it, can call Humberside Police using the 101 non-emergency number quoting the Legacy investigation.
Humberside Police will publish any new information on the news section of their website.

Victim Support also has a team of local Caseworkers who are able to provide ongoing support, signposting and advocacy to anyone impacted by the Legacy investigation. This can also include help and support with banks and other organisations in relation to fraud.

My Support Space is an online resource to help you manage the impact crime has had on you. It includes interactive guides that contain videos, information, tips and activities as well as an online diary.
You are in control of your account so you can decide what you want to complete and when. You’ll have to register for an account so the information is personalised to you, and so you can save your progress. It’s free, secure and confidential.
My Support Space is also available for friends, family members, colleagues or other supporters of victims of crime. There are separate guides that have been specifically designed to help those supporting someone after they’ve experienced crime.

SilverCloud
SilverCloud is a safe and secure online space offering personalised programmes, including Depression and Anxiety, Sleep, Stress and Resilience.
It is not specific to crime but has a therapeutic approach to issues which many people find useful. You’ll take a short questionnaire and the site will suggest programmes which you might find useful.
You will have to register for a free account so the information is personalised to you, and so that you can save your progress.

Mental Health Support
Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire MIND run a 24/7 mental health help and support advice line. You can contact this line if you are worried about your own mental health or a friend of family member. If you are experiencing something that makes you feel unsafe, distressed or worried, you can also contact your local crisis service on 111 and choose the mental health option. If you feel that you are at risk of suicide or self harm, please contact emergency services on 111 or 999.
If you would prefer to receive text support, you can text ‘Shout’ to 85258. You will be connected to a Shout volunteer who will listen and provide support. This is a 24/7 service.
